Front Desk Coordinator

Are you a friendly and organized individual with exceptional communication skills? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can make a positive impact on patients' experiences? Join our dedicated team at Dentistry by Design as a Front Desk Coordinator and play a crucial role in providing outstanding patient care!

We are open Monday-Thursday, 8AM-5PM: 4 day work week!

$18-23/hr. Compensation based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome patients with a warm and friendly demeanor.

  • Manage patient appointments, scheduling, and reminders.

  • Answer phone calls, address inquiries, and manage patient communication.

  • Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing inquiries.

  • Maintain organized patient records and administrative tasks.

  • Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

  • Uphold strict confidentiality regarding patient information.

  • Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and presentable.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a dental or medical front desk role is preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in using dental software systems (experience with Eaglesoft is a plus).

  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • Friendly and professional attitude under pressure.

  • Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a bonus.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Dental Hygienist

If you’re a seasoned dental hygienist or someone looking to start your career without much experience in the field, we’re willing to consider you if you’ll be a fun and positive addition! This is an amazing opportunity to move to Door County or get more involved in the community if you’re already in the area.

We are open Monday-Thursday, 8AM-5PM; we’re open to working with you on your desired schedule, full or part-time! 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform dental cleanings and oral examinations for patients.

  • Take and develop dental x-rays.

  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques.

  • Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed.

  • Assist the dentist during procedures.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and update medical coding systems

  • (Eaglesoft).

  • Sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of Wisconsin.

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and dental team members.

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and patient care

  • Proficiency in using dental software systems.

  • Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and equipment.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage patient schedules and maintain efficient workflow.
